I wrote this piece about love. The version presented here has me playing one piano track and there is no over-dubbing. The reason why the production is so poor is that I recorded this version on cassette and then transferred it onto disc using a shure 58 microphone which was feeding into a digital recorder from a primitive cassette deck. In spite of the poor production result, I believe this song captures a lot of my heartfelt and deeply rooted convictions about the profundity of love. Whether Christian, Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, Religious, Agnostic, Atheist or other, we are all, I assert, the givers and receivers of this ineffable essence which the English language calls "love". I believe it is the only language, and I mean love itself, which is truly universal and is understood by all. - John Zwerenz
