OF TWO IN PARADISE
When the silver fountains sigh
To the paradisial sky
Eloquently, majestically,
I shall gaze into your ebony eyes
As the snow descends upon your jet-black hair
And your face, so astonishing,
Astonishingly fair.
The castle by the sea
Where the diamond currents rise
With the grace of an angel's wing
Is a witness to our ardor there.
And as the pines, wrapped in a breeze
Of blue and velvet rhapsodies
Shake their perfumes upon your dress
I shall find ecstasy in your feminine caress
And our kiss shall recite The Angelus.
